Behind every great band is a community that believes in its students.

The Kecoughtan High School Band Parents’ Association, AKA Kecoughtan Band Boosters, is a volunteer-led nonprofit public charity registered in the state of VA that is dedicated to supporting the students, staff, and programs of the Kecoughtan Band. Made up of band families and supporters, we work alongside the Band Director to help provide the resources, opportunities, and experiences that allow our students to grow as musicians, performers, leaders, and teammates.

Our support goes far beyond fundraising. We help make the moments behind the music possible—from performances and competitions to meals, equipment, events, student needs, and the countless details that keep a successful band program moving forward.

At the heart of our organization is community. We strive to build strong connections among band families, students, school staff, the PTSA, alumni, and the greater Kecoughtan community while promoting teamwork, school pride, sportsmanship, and a shared love of the performing arts.

Together, we are more than parents in the stands. We are advocates, volunteers, supporters, and champions for every student who wears the Kecoughtan colors.
