What do the boosters do?
Our mission is to help offset the costs of the marching band season so student fees can remain as low as possible, while providing a great experience. We do what we can to help support and encourage our band members to make great memories while enjoying performing.
Why become a booster?
By becoming a booster you will receive one vote per family on budget approval, planned trips, and booster board elections.
Why do I have to pay for my student to participate in marching band?
The school district has student band fees that cover some of the costs associated with the marching band (busses, competition fees, uniforms, etc. This money does not come to the boosters. We fundraise to cover costs the band fees do not.
How do I become a KHS Band Booster?
To join the KHS Band Booster Parent Association, you must be a parent, family member, or legal guardian of a current band member and pay your $10 fee (this fee is per family, not per person). This fee helps cover administrative costs (like our website), but also allows us to use additional funds for the students.
